Renewable energy photographer

Looking to partner with an environmental sustainable photography business? Renewable energy photography is us! Michael DeYoung Photography's home office is an environmental sustainable structure powered 100% by solar energy and uses zero fossil fuels for space heat. As an advocate and practioner of renewable energy, Michael can bring a sense of passion and customer side perspective to corporate work in the renewable energy industry.

The sun powers our sustainable home and home office located at 7,400 feet just outside of the adventure and ski town of Taos, New Mexico. Locally obtained natural materials, basic physics, and modern passive solar design provide 99% of heating and cooling. Mac Pro, laptops, cinema screens, printers, power packs, wireless internet, and lights are all powered by the sun. Why do this? We know renewable energy can and does work and we are committed to helping others learn more and to recognize that this is attainable.

Michael DeYoung Photography produces digital photography for annual reports, PR campaigns, websites and brochures for the renewable energy industry.

He brings a broad and diverse range of creative and technical experience to his commercial work. He is perfectly comfortable in uncomfortable environments and in dealing with harsh conditions. He is a team player and collaborator but is perfectly at home working unsupervised with a simple creative brief.
